The K & Q Sound Genesis Model 1 Full Range Planar speaker is a unique 3-way, high sensitivity and wide dynamics planar loudspeaker. The speaker is designed and manufactured in the U. S. A. by master artisans.

The Model 1 presents a true-to-life natural sound with the see-through mid-range of electrostatic speakers, the coherence of a full range driver, and the overall balance of BBC-designed monitors. Designed to recreate the full weightiness of a symphony orchestra, the Model 1 delivers the raw emotions of a live performance right in your listening room. At all music levels, the Model 1 projects a delicate and sophisticated presentation.

The dipole design implements a state-of-the-art 12-inch paper cone, feed-forward mid-bass driver running full range. It is augmented in the bass by two 15-inch paper cone woofers and in the treble by a smooth compression tweeter loading a constant directivity horn. Crossovers have a passively equalized, compensated design and are housed in separate enclosures.

The speaker is made from 3-inch thick solid cherry wood. Medium density fiber and plywood are not used. The exposed rich wood surfaces are sanded, oil rubbed and polished as with high end custom furniture. A matching cherry wood finish is used for the crossover enclosures. The classic and modern look is designed to fit into any room décor.

The Model 1 is voiced with our Model 2 DHT transformer coupled, single end class A stereo amplifier, which has a 300B/300B-XLS triode driving another 300B/300B-XLS direct heated triode output stage.
